*Not Edible*

This oil is great for bruises, bug bits, rash, poison ivy and sunburn. Witch Hazel reduced swelling and itching. It's been an ingredient in hemorrhoid cream for years.

Place 1/ 4 cup olive oil in a non-porous, oven safe dish or pan. Add 2 tablespoons dried Witch Hazel. Cook at 250 degrees for six hours. Once cool strain out the herbs and put the oil in an air tight container in the fridge. Use when needed for itchy skin. Do Not us on open wounds. We add this to our homemade lotions too to help with dry winter skin.

I make Lavender Oil this way too.
