Things we all should know: *Gravity works! *Water is needed when you are thirsty. *When someone is crying, they are sad (Be sympathetic, at least!) *Mood swings usually mean low blood sugar--feed that person!
Each time I fall, I prove gravity works. When I am thirsty, water quenches. When I am crying, someone is usually sympathetic. While shopping with my daughter, and she becomes grumpy, I know she needs fed (She is grownup with 3 lovely children, but still needs to eat when she is grumpy!)
Things we may not know and may be controversial, but are based on rules of chemistry:
**If we crave parsley, we probably need beta carotene. **If we are lusting after milk, the blood calcium level is usually in the low range. **If we would kill for chocolate, we are probably low in magnesium. ( Low mag may also be indicated by little muscle cramps in feet and legs, twitching around the eyes, and being ticklish)
Some Basic Rules to Live BY:
Three little words for domestic tranquility -- I love you.
Show interest in others by asking what they have enjoyed in their past (adults); what they want to do when they grow up (children); what are you doing now?(teens)
Learn how to tell jokes as ice breakers, conversation starters, and just plain joining in with others to share a laugh and smile together.
Join with me in this: A policeman stopped a man who was walking in the gutter. His left foot strode on the curb, while the other foot was at gutter level. The cop said, "Hey, you, you're drunk. I'm going to take you in." Man responds, "Thank God you stopped me. I thought I was crippled."
Live Well. Laugh Often. Love Much.
