Snow Day....

Good Tuesday Sparkfam!

It's a snowy afternoon here in Chicago so I got to go home early. I am sitting here watching one of my favorite feel good movies "Fried Green Tomatoes," it always take me back to some of my hot summers in Alabama. It sure would be okay to have some of the warmth here now to melt some of the snow.....UGH!

Driving home wasn't bad but I don't want to think about tomorrow commute......I pray you all have a wonderful Tuesday & get some fitness in.. Hubs shoveled & snow blew snow so I am going to take a nap right now.

God bless,

emoticon When I Lived In OK Snow Was ALWAYS Around In The Winter. Living In TX Is VERY Different! emoticon With COLD Weather! But I'm Not Complaining Because I Never Liked Driving Around In It...But The DEEPER Snow Gives Me More Traction. Hope Your Snow Has Melted!

We drove back from Tulsa yesterday. Rain. I loved it! (hubby, not so much). Kansas, snow, but we were behing plows. Colorado, blue skies and sunshine!

Snow today, but it was an easy day to recover from that motion. Soup on the burner!

    Stay warm and sweet!

Glad you got to go home early! I went to the office this morning, even though I'm still pretty sick, because I needed to finish & send out a report before noon & could only do it there. Got a couple of other tasks done too--& then I left for home around 1:00! The snow was already coming down so thickly; I was REALLY glad that nearly all the cars on Lake Shore Drive were going much more slowly than usual.

Now I'm still working on my current project, but cozily on my laptop, on the futon with a pot of chickory tea beside me that I'm just about to finish. Every time I cough it feels as if my lungs are trying to shoot up through my windpipe, & I'm now surrounded by used tissues because my nose has started running. Yes, a cheery day in my house, heehee! Fortunately tomorrow is my regular work-from-home day--& I canceled two appointments so there will be NO need to venture out.

Seriously, I'm SO grateful for a comfortable warm home on a day like this. I hope all the folks who don't have a home have found shelter. You take good care of yourself, & don't go to work tomorrow unless the roads are really cleared! emoticon
