5k Training: Week 7, Day 1

Almost there! Just two weeks to go!
I was actually really worried about this week. Last week was hard. But I got through the first day pretty decently! There were times where I wasn't sure I would make it to the end, but I did. I ran 1/4 walk/run intervals for 35 minutes! That is way more than I ever thought I could do. Not only that, but I am at less than a 12 minute mile average pace and, including my 5 minute cool down, I made it 3.18 miles! So, not going to make my goal of a 10 minute mile this 5k, but I am getting there.
My body (especially my legs) still has a lot of work to do before running will be natural, let alone enjoyable, for me. But I am definitely improving and I am definitely getting there.
