Push That Tush - Challenges help me Recommit

The Challenge I’m on is helping refuel my commitment.
Having to enter my progress for the day
helps make me accountable to myself and to the team.
Being on this challenge won’t let me curl up on a sofa and escape from my goals.
I know I have things I need to do and an exercise I need to get done.

I’m not a reality show fan but today I read an article on Jillian Michaels from THE BIGGEST LOSER putting a disgruntled contestant in a coffin to make a point. The woman is prone to claustrophobia and was kept in a coffin for 20 minutes to scare her into acknowledging what she was doing to herself with her weight. The point was made and the woman had an ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT.

Most of us know that an unhealthy lifestyle can affect your lifespan.
A more realistic lesson might have been to put the woman in a straitjacket and tie her to a couch in an empty room, where she would be bored to death. That’s what people end up doing to themselves when they dull themselves with a food binge and isolate themselves from the living.

The challenge has helped me feel more focused.
Having 8 weeks to accomplish this project gives me:
tasks, a timeline, and an objective.

Cooking without salt has me satisfied with less food.
It’s still very tasty but I’m not tempted to over indulge.
