So nothing's changed since I last posted, and that's not good. I haven't done any formal exercise, and my weight loss is still stalled.

If I look at my tracking, my calories are consistently over my somewhat unambitious daily calorie target. Quite a bit over, actually.

And those are on the days I'm actually tracking my eating. The weekends are still treated as tracking holidays. I'm out of the weekday routine that makes is easier to track, and I'm just not making the effort. I try not to go overboard, but the way I eat on the weekends is very snack-y and graze-y and it makes it even more difficult to track. And recently it seems I've had a tendency to replace skip whole meals and snack with junky food.

All said, I'm very fortunate to not have gained a lot of weight during this time of inertia.

Tomorrow is the first day of WW at work. And March 1st is the 2nd weigh-in of the weight loss contest at work. I'm looking forward to some outside support to get my focus and motivation going again.

As for exercise - I know by now that this gym thing isn't working for me. I found a new kettlebell class at the park district that I'd like to try, but it's only 6 sessions, and it doesn't start until April! I need to get back to exercise sooner (and more frequently) than that!

The park's next session starts 3/18, but I notice the catalog announced that fitness class passports can now be used one week before the session starts. Thats brings me to 3/11 - only two weeks away. Until the kettlebell class starts, I believe I'll buy a group fitness class passport.

If I don't succeed in making the gym a good routine for me over the next two weeks, I'm definitely going forward with the kettlebell class and the passport plan.

Time to get moving!

You can do it! Making a plan is sometimes half the battle. And hey, isn't it nice to know that even when you totally stall with your routines your body didn't totally rebel?
