30 Day Weight Loss Challenge....Day 1!

I’ve teamed up with Victory Martial Arts and LifeStyle Fitness for a 30 Day Weight Loss Challenge. The program was offered to parents and adult students of the karate school. Surprisingly, not many people signed up. Of course, I was the first person in line…free, Free, FREE is what got me!
We had our weigh in Saturday, and I weighed in at 166 pounds and 25.4% body fat. According to the body fat chart for my age, height, and weight, I am knocking on the door of excellent body fat. For me…it’s 23%.
I am not looking to win the challenge or lose a lot of weight, I just want to lose a few more inches from my waistline and see a little more muscle definition.
Today, I will be taking a Zumba class. I am a little intimidated about going to such a large gym by myself, but I cannot let this stop me. No more excuses!

    It sounds like you have fully recovered from you Achilles tendon injury, which is great. Are you taking any special steps to prevent a re-occurrence of the injury.

    I am following the advice on http://achillestendon.com/ (especially the preventing injury page) and it seems to be working for me.
