New Challenge - Springing into Action

Sunday, February 24, 2013

I joined a new challenge that started on Saturday Feb 16th and I am supposed to write a blog about myself so here goes. My name is Cynthia and I'm 35 from Massachusetts, I have been with my boyfriend for almost 8 years now. We enjoy camping, trying new restaurants, going out on our motorcycle and exploring when we are away. Last November we went to two new places and went on a hike while at those two places, he does much better then I do so I need to get in better shape so I can keep up with him. I work at a bank as a teller/ATM Coordinator and have been with my company for almost 11 years now. When i work out I like to ride the exercise bike, go for walks, use the Wii Fit and I have some DVD's that I use as well. What I'm hoping to get out of this challenge is to get myself jump started and moving more so that I can lose some weight. Good luck to all.

Good luck to you, too! It sounds like you are an active person. We have a lot of the same interests! I love walking, riding motorcycles (although, I don't have one now) and I just recently started using DVD's.

Sparkpeople is a great place to be to lose weight and/or just become healthier. The journey isn't always easy, but health is well worth the effort!! Challenges are a great way to get in there and JUST DO IT!

I lost my weight in a challenge at my workplace. I won and have kept my weight off for almost two years now. If I can do it, anyone can! emoticon emoticon
