Fitness Minutes Up - Calorie Intake UP??? Advice????

Saturday, February 23, 2013

It was a horrible week.....I don't know what happened, but I had a really hard time meeting my calorie goal (blew right past it most days!!!!) BUT, I did manage to log a whole lot more fitness minutes than usual. Are those two related? Any advice on fixing that???

That being said, I went to the market this morning. I bought sweet potato, sweet peppers, salad, cucumber, tomato, kale, banana, berries, apples, and I am going to eat them all!!!! Did I mention broccoli, cauliflower and a few other things???? It is time folks!!!

Give me some pointers on working out, without keeping my head in the fridge!!

Make sure you are fueling your body properly before you work out. I find if I don't eat about 30 minutes before with the appropriate carb/protien balance, I am usually ravenous when I am finished. I also have a better work out if I have fueled up properly before hand. For most forms of exercise a balance of carbs/protien such as some chicken and vegetable/fruit is great. If you are doing any kind of endurance, then you need to load up more on whole grains/oats (oatmeal is great).

    Good luck,
