Day 10 of challenge, and also - we mooooved

I recently moved to a large and famous city park - and we've been so busy the last week I haven't had much of a chance to take advantage of it. Today that changes -I am taking a hike as soon as I finish my breakfast!

Today is Day 10 of my 30 day challenge. I have exercised 20 minutes at least, every single day. I have done far, far better at tracking my food and getting on sparkpeople. But the best thing so far is how watching how the other people doing it are getting motivated. The facebook group I started is active, and I really think that people are into it. Nothing else in my life energizes me as much as posting and responding to that group.

My scale was packed up about 10 days ago, and I haven't unpacked it yet - thinking I might not until the end of these 30 days. My goal is to lose 5 pounds, but I'm curious to see if that happens when I am focusing on other successes or if I need the scale to keep me in line.
