Bad Day

Friday, February 22, 2013

I need to vent. It is just one of those days that got off on the wrong foot and you feel like you are struggling all day to get your day back to "normal". Started off my morning getting up later than usual. Just by 10 minutes, but that was 10 minutes too late. Then my daughter was puttered and stalled getting ready for daycare. Halfway to daycare I realized I had forgotten her extra clothes. Had to go back and get them. Made it to daycare 30 minutes late. Had to get breakfast and eat it at work instead of stopping and taking my time. I was tempted to get what I used to...A Bojangles country ham biscuit and Borounds, but did not. I stuck to my fruit and maple oatmeal and a med nonfat latte with sugar free french vanilla. Realized I forgot my waterbottle at home. Grabbed a cup from our work kitchen and drank water anyway. At work everyone is rushing everywhere getting ready for a Bridal Show on Sunday. I had to go to the bank for change and do personal banking as well and though I'd stop and get my prescription at CVS as part of my lunch break. I even called it in at 9 and they said it'd be done at 11. Long story short, 2 hours later...they still didn't have it and let me know our COBRA was up on our insurance and that our new policy would begin March 1st. Yes folks, I managed to catch the one week that I did not have insurance coverage which made my BC Pills go from 25 dollars to $162! Informed my husband that we would be waiting a week before husband and wife duties took place. emoticon
So what would have took me 15 minutes took me an extra hour which I have to make up at work. Ugh. I'm trying hard to stick to my diet today, but I still haven't even gotten to eat lunch and it's 2pm. Wish me luck on turning my day around.
