emoticon Hi all.

All things being equal (ha), it's been a decent couple of weeks.

The good:

Trip to Cleveland was wonderful, concert greatness, met up with an old bestie and made a few new acquaintances - yay music, yay connectedness.

Went to Cincinnati last weekend (yes, to see the same group play, this time in an old church space). More time with family and friends, and JUNGLE JIMS! Did you know they sell kimchee in 120-oz jars?? I refrained; came home with the 32-oz jar. Ahem. And some PB2, and tasty drinks.

The Bad:

This week, I managed to sprain BOTH rotator cuffs. emoticon So, absolutely NO pushups for a while...which sounds great but not so much when you teach things like boot camp and yoga. At least I'm not motivated to cheat because the pain is pretty yucky. :(

More Good:

OH OH!!! I borrowed my sister's cold laser (it's UV light that is used in PT to break up scar tissue) and oh my goodness. It's been YEARS since I've run without IT band pain. To be able to run 4 miles and feel GOOD at the end - not like your leg is going to fall off - wow.

Of course, I get to feeling better just when I made a pact to stop running off all my muscle. This will need to be worked on.

ANYHOW. THIS weekend is our YMCA's Big Ride for charity. Three hours, lots of music and fun. Can't wait. Then a massage on Sunday (legs only; no one but the DC can touch the upper back). Can't wait for that, either.

    When Re lived down there we'd go just to wander around and maybe pick something up. I hate that it's so far away from me...that and IKEA.

    Lots of good here, Donna, but can't get past the BOTH ROTATOR CUFFS SPRAINED part.
