Jersey Nights at the Palace Theater!!

Friday, February 22, 2013

I collected on my Christmas gift yesterday when we went to see Jersey Nights at the Palace Theater. It was fantastic!! We had so much fun reliving the days of our youth and enjoying the songs from that era. It's been a long time since I've been to the theater and I forgot just how much I loved it. I was leery about fitting in the seat as I know the close quarters that theaters have. It was fine and I fit, it helped that I had a very skinny lady next to me too because having my husband on the other side was very chummy, lol.

Remember I bought that great top to wear but I had hoped to lose some weight for it to fit better? Well I was doing great until about 2 days beforehand when I just blew all the progress that I made. I wore the top anyway but I made sure to wear a sweater over it so that you saw the front but couldn't see the rolls on the side. I was a bit uncomfortable but I did it to teach myself a lesson about how I always ruin my goals at the last minute. I am still trying to figure out why I do this. Ahhh, maybe someday I'll come to terms with this. This journey is full of pitfalls but I'm still going to have fun along the way.

The theater sounds heavenly. I sometimes regret that I live in the middle of nowhere. Usually though I love the isolation of my rural community. I would guess that you looked beautiful even if you were concerned about well concealed rolls.
