Life has been so busy, I never seem to have more than a couple of minutes at a time to do much of anything. I did want to post a quickie blog, though.
I'm still here, logging my food and fitness minutes, commenting on blogs and threads as I have a chance. Work is very busy, but so is the rest of life. I've been having a blast with a belly dancing class, and doing some personal training with my favorite trainer. I'm running as often as I can, with two half marathons in March, one or two probably half marathons in April, one in May (Portland Rock 'n Roll, woo hoo!) and my first full marathon (assuming training goes well) in June. I'm also doing another half in July along with Ragnar Northwest Passage, and I've signed on to walk 60 miles in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day in September. Lots to do in order to get ready for that--team meetings, training, and of course FUND-RAISING!
I'm also getting ready to start selling Seacret skin care products, in part to help with the fund-raising (a portion of everything i sell will be going to the 3-Day) as well as to prepare for the day when my work moves to Arizona. At this point, we have no plans to move with them, but I've learned to never say never--we're trying to keep a somewhat open mind about the possibility.
So lots going on, but I really am still here, just not online a great deal. There is no way that I could have tackled all that before losing weight; I would not have had the energy or the confidence to try. I know now that I CAN keep the weight off if I'll just keep doing what I've been doing, so I won't be leaving SparkPeople any time soon.
