I ordered a 4 week plan from QVC yesterday. It costs $180. and is a weekends off program. Money back if not satisfied. This may be good for me during the long month of March. I need to take the focus off my food (recipes & cooking) and put the focus on my cardio & ST which I have ignored for the past month since a foot injury. Please let me know if any of you have experienced either good or bad results on NS. I found the SP team for NS and joined and it seems Sparkers have been having good luck with this program. It is a bit high prices, but averages $2. for each pre-packaged meal.'
Get back to the exercise gradually, and don't follow my grossly unsuccessful habit of trying to do too much too soon. If you get the exercise worked in right, then any good nutrition program should help.
Keep at it all -- fitness & nutrition.

How do you like it? I did Jenny Craig years ago. I had great results, but walked away with some bad habits. I.E. I never ate gravy and with JC it was impossible not to, so I got used to it. I also question the sodium content on the pre packaged meals. A good friend got her start with Nutrisystem, and after a while switched off. I do agree that portion control is great with the pre packaged meals; it takes the thinking out and no left overs = less grazing. 1926 days ago
I have been using it for a year and a half. I love it! Keeps me on track with my portion sizes. I get the weekends off plan. I get a new shipment about every 6 weeks. It's so easy to use and I customize my order and just get the stuff I like. If you belong to Costco you can save a lot of money buying the gift cards ($20. For every $100 spent).
Also: all the nutrisystem foods are in the spark food tracker which makes it super easy.
I got some last fall but didn't stick with it very long. I am using the products with the Weight Watchers Plan since they all have the nutritional content on them. It works out fine and the portion size of NS is an eye opener! 1940 days ago
I did it before finding SP. I lost 20 lbs. I felt I needed to learn to eat on my own. I did try and do it where 1 month of food lasted 2 months so that I would not be on their food only but have some days on my own after the first month or two.
I also did Jenny Craig 20+ years ago and got down to about my goal weight, got pregnant so went off, back on after and got to my goal weight and kept most of it off for at least a year until I got laid off work. 1943 days ago
My MD keeps pushing it for me to get a handle on portion control. I eat the right foods...just way too much. He used it as a jump start and lost about 40 lbs. He's a big guy. Problem was he didn't follow through when designing his own meals ad put the weight back on. I am considering something from Sam's Club that does the same thing. ANything to get me out of this rut!!!!!!!
I have done Jenny Craig 3x, which is the same sort of thing only more expensive. If I could, i would live my life that way, having someone dole out all my meals that would guarantee losing weight and i have no decisions to make, just eat them and see the success. However, once i reached my goal and weaned off the Jenny food, i still had my food issues and always gained the weight back. But for a jump start to losing weight, and especially during a time when you need to not have to think about food, I think it is a good thing. Marie Osmond sure looks great! 1944 days ago
I haven't tried Nutrisystem, but I have tried Fresh Diet. I definitely lost weight. Problem is that it's easy to cheat :(. Good luck! I'm sure you have more disciplije than I do! 1944 days ago
it has been a while since I used it, the meals were ok, I just didn't find it any easier by the time you purchase all the extra you need and prepare them to go along with the meal as per there meal plan. 1944 days ago
