4 a.m.? Really? Really?

My body or rather my brain decided that 4 hours was enough sleep and my eyes popped open at 4 a.m. Yes I went to bed late but I took a 1/4 of a sleep aid thinking this would be enough to keep me asleep until 5:45 at least.

So brain is up and I felt like the commercial of the woman lying in bed with thoughts racing around ("Maybe the hokey pokey IS really what it's all about!") emoticon

Ok I didn't have that thought! But song lyrics were popping in and out, thinking about a friend & her little girl who lost their horse to a broken leg this past weekend, many many other thoughts frittering in & out.

Of course I did eventually drift back into sleep and woke up groggy to the alarm. So hard to get up.

    I have a real problem with the song in your head thing, it's crazy, I will sometimes fall asleep with a song in my head and if I have to wake up to go to the bathroom, it immediately starts "playing" again. AAAAAAHH, SO ANNOYING!!

    4.00a.m is my normal wake up time. I actually wake up at 3.45a.m so as to begin my workout at 4.00a.m. But I also try to go to be early.

    Ugh, I hate that. Especially on nights when I get songs or bits of songs stuck in my head and it's like the singer is shouting them from inside my brain.

    My brother does not produce enough melatonin and that's why he can not sleep as a regular person, the doctor prescribe some pills and he is doing better...

    I love my sleep, I'm one of those that for real can't function without my 8 hours a nigth...

    Isn't crazy how you can be fully awake at 4 AM and then at alarm time you're so sleepy you'd like to stay in bed! It happens to me quite frequently. Don;t know why I just don't get up and start my day! Oh,well! Hope you have a great day.

    Lots of people I know are going through the same thing right now. I was like that on Monday. Hopefully it will pass soon!

    I waking up like that and things running to your head. If feels like it is hours and when you drift back to sleep and wake back up it feels like you just closed your eyes. Broken sleep is not a good sleep, you don't feel rested.Maybe you should take the sleeping aid earlier. Try to have a great day.
