Didn't Wanna But Did!

So today I started my month of Good Measure Meals. They are prepared meals full of healthy food and exactly 1200 calories per day. I don't have to do any calorie counting!!! I vowed that I would ramp up my exercise while on the meals to get the most weight loss possible during this month. I even took it pretty light the last few days knowing I would really be kicking it into high gear once the meals started. Mmmmm hmmmm.

Then today shows up and I'm pooped from helping the kid with a report until 10:30 last night and getting work done and dishes and garbage to take out and all that and boy, by the end of the day the voice trying to make excuses for why I shouldn't go for a 2 mile run was getting LOUD!!! I mean, that voice was persistent. Whooo, it was trying so hard!

So I stopped and said hey, it's going to take 20 something minutes to run the 2 miles right here in my neighborhood so really, how bad could that be? I feel I can hang in there and toughen up for 20 dang minutes. So I started warming up and the voice tried to peep up and say even if you warm up you could skip the run part... I said no right back to that voice. I said it's already been decided, the run is happening. Bam. I shut that voice up and got my 2 miles and 400 calories burned. It's gonna be a great month!

    My son got a few complementary meals yesterday and gave me a breakfast and lunch. The food was really good. I must admit it even looked more appetizing than the normal packaged meals. I can't do it now but it sure looks worth it.
