5k Training: Week 6, Day 1

Week 5 was good. I did increase my walking speed for two days, but not my running speed. This was a good decision. I finished the week very strong.

Today was hard. Of course it was, it is my first week with only one minute of walking. Thankfully it was still just 3 minutes of running! I struggled a bit, but I pushed through and now I feel AMAZING!

One thing that has aided in this feeling it the realization that I am improving. I don't feel like it. My body looks the same (with the exception of the days my breasts look smaller :/) and my workouts are always hard. But then I remember that I AM getting better! The reason things still feel hard is because I'm increasing the difficulty all the time. At least once a week, my running program gets harder. Every 2-3 days, the ab workout I'm doing for the month adds reps or time. Every day is going to be a struggle. But the fact that I am able to keep moving on shows that I am getting better! 3 weeks ago, I thought I was going to die running for 3 minutes. Now I can do it no problem! At the beginning of the month, I struggled to do 10 sit ups. Now I can to 20 before I even feel it, and I did 60 today. I am improving. :)
