At least it wasn't a fattening (but oh-so-yummy) appetizer followed by deep-fried something or another then by a WAY fattening dessert.
We split the appetizer (only half the guilt), we both had a salad and you had a pork chop (lean) and I had a steak (also lean). So it wasn't ALTOGETHER awful. Admittedly, it was probably way more calories and fat that we're "allowed", but it was a nice splurge.
I certainly don't plan on eating that much every day, and I know you don't either!
Besides, we burned a lot of calories by talking before, during and after eating.
