Week 3 Fitness Goals

Hello everyone!
OK, so last week, being a little more relaxed with myself, went much better. I got in 3 miles and I am happy with that. Eating wasn't so great, but I know why. Rather than go on about that, I can honestly say that I know this week will be better. I am off my antibiotic, which means I am back to exclusively nursing, which means eating right for little Carly! It sure does make it easier!

This weekend was good...I bought myself a FitBit One and a new pair of running/workout shoes. Two motivational tools to go with the exercise part. Carly is my motivation to eat right.

With this said, here are the goals for this week...

Walk - minimum of 4 miles
Steps - 3 days with over 10,000 steps, the other days I must reach at least 5,000

Food - track it all...every single bite!
Water - minimum 10 glasses a day

Weight - lose the 2 - 3 lbs I gained the previous week. (Currently 192)

Alright...definitely easily attainable goals. I'm not sure I'll be able to blog next Monday. It's going to be crazy starting Friday (or maybe even Thursday) this week. Family comes to town Friday (maybe Thursday). Em's sweet 16 is Saturday. Sunday will still be busy, I'm sure.
Monday I have court in the morning (custody mediation with Em's dad...wish me luck!!) and Carly's 1 month appointment in the afternoon. Tuesday is my first day back to school (wish me luck there too, lol!) and Wednesday I have my check-up. Can't wait to get clearance from the doctor to get back to normal high-intensity cardio workouts!

    Hey, busy lady! Your goals sound reasonable and attainable. I've been tracking every morsel I've been eating/drinking, too -- it really helps. I've had two excellent days now and I want to keep it rolling. :) Take care and give Carly a hug from the Team!

    BETH, you have so much going on. I am so glad you have your fr bit one and new shoes, way to go. I was surprised you will be back to school so soon. Will you be able to take Carly with you.
    I hope Monday goes the way you and Emily would like it to be. I just hope it does not stress you out too much.

    Dang I'm tired reading all that! LOL I want lots of pics of Em's sweet 16 as I'm trying to plan Maureen's.

    Girl you are amazing and I know that you can do this. Besides we have a goal to hit that 3 together this week!! I can't wait for you to get the all "ok" and hit it hard like you were. I know you will bounce back and I look forward to hearing all about it!! Spring is around the way and soon we will be able to get outside more....I know that is what you love the most!

    Busy Busy Busy. Good Luck for sure in court. Enjoy Emilys Sweet 16. And the first Month appointment for Carly. We are planning Emilys 7th birthday party on Memorial Day weekend (as always). I can't believe my baby girl is almost 7. That's a serious number. LOL. As is 16 of course. Enjoy your week, your family, the party.

    A Fitbit and a new pair of shoes? That's a great way to start a new fitness week! Well done, Beth! I'm amazed at all your motivation and your plans. With everything that has been going on and with your mind full of all your daily responsibilities and the upcoming events, it's really surprising that you find time to even think about exercise!
