Motivation Monday

My motivation this week is that me doctor's appointment is in less than two weeks. I would like to lose 4-5 more lbs before then.

I would like to prove to her the the best way to lose weight (for me at least) is NOT Atkins, but eating healthy and working some activity into my days.

Even if I am able to lose a few more pounds I am still overweight and dread what she will say when I tell her that we want a baby. I'm fully aware that being thinner would be ideal before getting pregnant, but I simply can't wait forever. It's not like she can stop us, obviously, but I don't want to be discouraged - as so much of this next step in our lives is already, quite frankly, terrifying.

I'm really working myself up about this doctor's visit, aren't I? LOL

    @MIRMIUM according to the BMI calculator on the site, I need to lose another 100-ish lbs which would be around 150 lbs.

    But I think it's kind of off for my body type because I was comfortable and looked really good when I was at about 165-175. The last time I was happy and more comfortable with my shape I was less than 200, but not a whole lot less.

    Ideally, and probably after baby, I will aim for 75 - 100 lbs lost total.

    I understand about the weight thing. The other day I was talking to my husband about babies and he says that as far as he's concerned, the medication was an issue but my weight wasn't.

    It really makes you just want to run with it doesn't it?

    How much do you need to lose still before you are at a normal BMI?
