I can do this....

Monday, February 18, 2013

I realized I haven't been posting a blog because all I wanted to write about were my failings. I haven't done well with my diet lately and I have been slacking on my workouts. Every blog I was making promises to myself that I wasn't keeping so I no longer wanted to share.

So I'm trying to change my attitude. This week is going to be good because I'm already making good choices for food today so I think I can continue with that. I'm changing my workout at the gym so hopefully I will see better results soon (already lost 2 of the pounds of the 4 that I gained back since the holidays). I also bought some precut veggies at the store for me to snack on instead of the usual chips and dip my family keeps around at all times.

I know I can make these better choices knowing that I have support from family, friends and my Spark friends. There are a lot of people on this site that have the same struggles I do and its encouraging to know that I'm not alone.

You can do it! You should keep posting blogs even if it is about your failings so you know you still have a support system out there. You can always recover! Everyday is a new day :)

You're right, there. All of us struggle towards the goals we're pursuing, but we'll get there, if we persevere! emoticon emoticon

I know for me I tend to write my blog about the failures too. I typically don't say much about how good I am doing. I usually find the blog is a great way to get the negative out of my system. Then again I don't go back and read many of my own blogs after I write it, probably for that reason. Just keep your chin up and keep moving forward. We have setbacks but those are not really failures. So blog how you need too and keep up the momentum from today into tomorrow!

We are in this together! I have failed so many times at trying to lose weight, that I gave up and stopped trying... Until now. I am here for you, as I'm sure many other Spark people are :)

I added you... Hope that's okay!

That's a wonderful attitude to have! It's important to remember the success as well as the failures. emoticon
