The stress of everyday life
Sunday, February 17, 2013
Today I did my walk and stretched out. I did my usual chores for Sunday. I caught up with my 19 year old daughter. Even though she lives with us, we rarely see her with her going to college, working part time and hanging out with her friends or boyfriend.
She informed me that she will be getting another tattoo and that her boyfriend and her have talked about marriage in the future. He is a great kid however, I stressed the importance of both of them finishing college. She said that most likely she would not get engaged for at least a year or two....ok on to my 21 year old son who decided to take a break from college because he does not like what he is studying and does not have any idea what he wants to study. He has been trying to get a job for the last 3 weeks however, I do not think he is trying too hard. His Dad and I will be discussing that with him tomorrow.
I know that life throws us curve balls but my husband and I are tired of our kids. We love them, we just want them to get their degrees and move on. It is taking them way too long to figure things out. Our friends have told us even when they leave, it still can be a headache. So why did we have children again? Thanks for listening! I appreciate all of my Sparkfriends!
