Have you ever bought, or in my case made, a cloths item when you were at a smaller weith; usually right before the holidays, only to try it on again when the season for it rolls around again just to find out that it is a little tighter then the last time you wore it? Well, that is what happened to me.

I started using sparkpeople last August, and lost about five pounds. I was maintaining that very well and so I decided that it was time to reward myself, and finally finish the dress I was making. It fit perfectally, when I was done; although it was a bit tight to get off, but it looked fantastic on.

Well, the holidays came and there went my good eating habbits. My family is a huge eater and I have quite the sweet tooth, espically chocolate and artificial sugar. So that explains half of it right there. Also, I have almost no will power to say no to food, even when I am tracking it and working out. So i gained the five pounds back, and I didn't like it. I had consumed so much artificial sugar in the last two months that my body was going crazy that I wasn't giving it to myself any more. I was loosing my battle again.

Now it is lent, and I'm so great that there is now an outside source that is keeping me strong and giving me the will power to stay true. I still work out just as much as I did before, but now I'm eating better, and I'm deffantly not eating as much artifical sugar--fruit is a God send! Don't get me wrong I still enjoy my serving of chocolate every day and my other varies sweet treats on occassion.

My brother's Conformation is in about a month and I have already lost a couple pounds, so I'm on the road to loving my body even more again. My dress will fit again, and I will love myself in it. I'm so excited! Next step is to get more toned, but one battle at a time. Once I start something, I finish it.
