Rest Day

Friday, February 15, 2013

Very busy work day which is always good.

I took a complete rest day as far as exercise. I watched a movie with my daughter and took a nap. I think I was a bit deflated after today's weigh in. I worked really hard this week and the scale showed a gain. Right back to the number my body seems to love. I don't love it ugh!

My clothes are fitting bigger. I feel stronger. One of the challenges this week was not to look at the scale all week. I think that hurt me in some ways.

Oh well, tomorrow is a new day ;)

I hear ya....that scale. But I'm kind of in the same boat. The scale is very slow to move...but the clothes are getting big. I/We should really take the time to measure. I bet we'd like the results far better than the scale....

The scale is not our friend!

Be happy your clothes are fitting better.

    The scale will catch up.

    Can just be sodium...

I hate when teh sale does not reflect (in my opinion) reality. If your clothes are fitting more loosely, that is HUGE in my mind. It is a real victory no doubt about it. And feeling stronger helps in so many ways. You ARE moving in the right direction, your weight will get to where you think it should be as it settles. That is at least what I always tell myself. But you can't help but realize (I hope) that the way your clothes fit is a certain reality.

You can do this!!! Keep fighting it and remember ..... those clothes are fitting looser for a reason!!! The scales don't always reflect that hard work we do....don't quit!!

Bigger clothes and feeling stronger are better indicators of how you are doing than the scale!!! Keep your chin up!!!
