I missed the target, but didn't blow it completely

While today is a day where chocolate and indulgences are common, I indulged a bit and had an egg roll with dinner. I went over my target goals for the day but not by as huge of a margin as I could have. I planned what I was going to eat ahead of time (on a full stomach) and asked myself if this was something that I really wanted to do today. I find this approach helpful. I was able to indulge in food and treats that I enjoy but I didn't go overboard because I was in control. What a great feeling!
