Curious update

Thursday, February 14, 2013

So it has been two days since I upped my calories. Tuesday I did good. Ate fairly well. I would be eating all day if all I ever ate was clean food and no junk at all. I even lost an entire pound.
Yesterday started off really well. Then I had to run an errand right around dinner time and knowing it would be a while before I got to eat because we were going to my dad's for dinner. They have company in from out of town and they wanted us all over. Well I ran through the Arby's drive through. And did I get something like a small roast beef sandwich? NO. I chose Mozzarella sticks. Really? Then we had pulled pork at my dad's with coleslaw and chips. Pulled pork is my favorite BBQ meat ever. OHHhh There were cake pops and mini cupcakes too. OK so I had one cake pop and one mini cupcake. If I hadn't had those dang mozzarella sticks then I would have been fine.
Today, The powere got turned off for about an hour. I forgot to pay the light bill. Mix up on dates. I hate when that happens. So I run down to the convenience store because I was really hungry. I got a chocolate, choclate chip muffin and an orange juice. I ate the muffin and tried to drink the juice. I just couldn't. Not real juice. That stupid MIniute Maid bottled crap. Horrible. Anyway, so far today I have eaten about 450 calories. I guess today can still be saved. Except we are invited to my dad's again tonight for ribeyes and bratts. Why couldn't they just have one meat? And lots of veggies. Oh well I guess I will make a big salad to take over. I love salad and I can't get into too muchtrouble if I eat a salad before I eat my dinner.
Have a great day all.

Just don't give up! You're conscious and you're trying :) Keep the big picture in mind. It's less about what you do in a day or two, and more about what you do in the long term.
