Yesterday was such fun and the employees got into it and had a much more cheery attitude the entire day.

Can't wait to do it again. I love it that I am able to take much of the motivation that I am learning from Spark and bring it into the work place. Many of the quotes I can use and the ideas are the same no matter what you are trying to get motivated to do.

We started off with the song Karn Evil 9 by Emerson Lake and Palmer and were cheering on our successes and making commitments for the day which I must say, 5 of the 8 obtained their goals of the day.

Fun stuff!!

1.4 miles this a.m. 44.46 to go. If I can keep up with at least one mile a day I will make my goal!!

A gal in a teacher's training seminar for beauty school teachers did something that I never forgot. She gave us all a potato and two straws that weren't a bendy straw. Then she asked us to stab the straw through the potato. We all did, and of course, it bent up and didn't go into it far if at all. Then, she had us take the other straw and place our thumbs over the end we were holding. Try again, she said. I was flabbergasted! The straw went all the way through my potato! She said sometimes changing one very small thing in our approach to a challenge could have tremendous results. I never forgot this. This was over 15 years ago.

I am so glad you are having good days at work! Your employees may never forget the things you are showing them either. Changing lives, you are!
