I am SO happy! I went out and did errands today. Paid bills, picked up meds, bought groceries, and looked for clothes for my son's friend (6 1/2 feet tall! Currently size 17 feet!) And I found him socks and sweatpants and a sweatshirt! All that fit in my budget! (Which got a boost from unexpectedly good sales of sock monkey cup cozies!!) And left money to consider a trip to Green Bay for the 1 pair of size 17 shoes that is to be had there. (I spent all morning on the phone yesterday trying to find some!)

This afternoon, my friend found a website that has reasonable priced shoes and she looked for large sizes. They STOCK up to size 20! Oh yeah! So she looked and found several options, my son got home while we were talking it over-so he went over to look at them. He ended up finding shoes for his friend and himself! And the total cost was less than the trip to Green Bay and shoes for his friend would have been. Even adding in the clothes I bought the friend today!

God is SO good! I had prayed for a way to help give him the tools he would need, and things are coming together.

This has potential!!

And the best thing? My son even thought to order the shoes for his friend one size big! In an 18!! His friend is going to be seriously shocked. I doubt he can remember the last time he actually had growing room in his shoes!

I can wait to see how they look when they get here!

Good for you. Glad to see you've been able to get around better. It's wonderful that you were able to help your son's friend, too. God is certainly good!

That is great news! I'm so glad you found all those things that you needed. You are the shopping Queen! Your son seems to know how to shop too! emoticon
