Another Change...Goodbye, Candy!

Stopped at a convenience store last night to get some mints following eating a hamburger with onions. Walked out with a Kit Kat, 3 Laffy Taffy and 2 rolls of mints. One of my biggest challenges is CANDY! I'm more of a fan of the taffy/gummy stuff, but have developed a Kit Kat craving as well lately. If I'm going to continue on my downward journey, I've GOT to say "goodbye" to candy!

Starting today, I'm not going to buy it! My mom has the tendency to buy M&M's to have around the house for holidays and such. I may eat a few of those, but that's it! No more Laffy Taffy (no matter how badly I want it!), Kit Kats or other assorted sugar-filled treats. I may allow myself one on occasion, but not on a regular basis like I have been lately. Hopefully that will get the scale going in the right direction again.

I also need to start drinking more water! I'm not a huge fan of the taste of some of the tap water around here, so I've started drinking Smart Water. I know it's just a gimmick, but I really like it! I guess if that will get me to drinking water, then great. My Mom has a Britta pitcher at home as well so I'll use that, too.

Hopefully with cutting out candy and drinking more water, I'll be even slimmer soon! Will report back in 2 weeks to let you know how I'm faring!
