Ok - so I walked again this morning - sometime around 9:30 am. Beautiful morning - breezy. Took the same path and then tried the new path. Only walked 30 min (my legs were really tired) - came home and had breakfast.
Don't know what happened but about an hour later I could not keep my eyes open - felt so exhusted but I fought it because I had to take my son to work at 1 - I didn't get over this exhustion until sometime in the middle of the afternoon. What the heck!!!?? I thought excercising was good for you - not supossed to make you sleepy. That was the only thing I did - take a 30 min walk - hummmmmm
One of my messages talked about goals and I do have them - not to best my walking steps each day but for more than that (maybe I'm over reaching too soon). The park that I go to is 1 1/2 miles from my home that I CAN walk to - that is my first goal - to walk out of my home - to the park - around the park - then home again (I'm guessing that would probably total 4 miles) - my next goal would be to walk farther - like to the corner store (probably about 3 miles 1 way). But for now I'm content to build up my stanima by walking in the park - the rest will be there when I'm ready (maybe this year - maybe next)
Will I walk tomorrow - probably not - I have a full day between 9 and 9 but probably will Wednesday morning weather willing.
Anywho - I hope I haven't missed anyone who left me messages and encouraged me - thank you to you all! Sometimes I think I'm in this by myself until I see that I'm not.
