Sorry folks, I ran out of time this morning and didn't have time to vlog. But, still checking in via regular typed words. :)

Weekend was madness! Friday was treadmill installation day. HORRAY! Finally got it put together, and ready and up and running. I made a sad mistake of thinking J's home office was a great place to put it, but turns out that the computer and the treadmill cant be on at the same time for it to run, or it'll overload the circuit. This is okay, because I can manage choosing one over the other, and most likely will be one or the other anyway most times. Sunday I actually did my first run, a re-do of C25K w1d1. I think having it at home will make me do it more. I really enjoyed the program the first time I did it, and having the option of doing it at home, I feel like I will graduate successfully this time! :)

Saturday we ran errands all day, as I thought we would. John had a lot of places to run to, so I just went for the ride. Saturday night we dressed up and went out for a date night, Cheesecake Factory. I love getting dressed up and going out somewhere nice every once in a while. It was a one hour wait to get in, so by the time we actually ate it was near 10pm, but thats okay, we were enjoying each others company a lot. :)

I got the luau salad. I know its not on their skinnylicious menu, but its still a salad.. and still a better choice then my other favorite item, chicken picatta. emoticon We opted to share a piece of cheesecake at the end of the night, but in reality I took three small bites and was over it. I'm just not as big of a sweets person as I used to be, and the salad was so filling and fresh and yummy anyway.

Sunday was cleaning day. We swept and cleaned up around the house. Then I tested out the treadmill for the first time. c25k week 1 day 1 - DONE!

    Love my "at home" equipment and use my recumbent bike. Love the treadmill also, but, because of a knee injury the bike is better for me. Now if I can get my strength training and toning under control. Lol! emoticon
