Top Gun

Monday, February 11, 2013

Went to the movies yesterday and saw a remake of the movie "Top Gun". The remake was a conversion to 3D. What a hoot! It was great seeing that on the big screen again, and not all hacked to pieces like it appears now on TV. Saw scenes that I didn't even remember. Thoroughly enjoyed myself....except for one small detail....could not keep my hands out of the freeking popcorn container! Movie theater popcorn, eaten in the dark, so you have no idea how much you consume. Can I disassociate my irresponsible hand from my body ? Can I blame it on aliens? Nope, the guilty member is still attached to my body! Sigh, but, the movie was still great, spent time with my son and husband, so, back on track today. "I went through the danger zone"

Last december I went with my daughter and grandaughters to see a children's movie but that was my excuse for the big bucket of popcorn. I felt so bad for the following three days because I did find out how many greasy calories I had eaten.

However, this weekend I went to see the Lincoln movie and I did not consume anything. That was so good, I loved the movie and did not feel bad with myself on the long run.
