Day 163, Loving Myself Healthy

Monday, February 11, 2013

Today has been a good day. DH & I took care of the grand-daughters' dogs this morning. Then I went to church where I sang in the choir & handed out Valentines from the "mailbox" that my Sunday School class had set up for the congregation to drop Valentines into. On a scary note, a lady in the choir passed out & the rescue squad had to be called. However, we had good news later that it was a blood sugar episode & while they are keeping her in the hospital overnight, she is projected to be fine. The power of prayer at work.

This afternoon I tried Gluten-Free white pizza. It was pretty good. I was actually surprised. Since I have been gluten-free my stomach has been doing better and I have been feeling better in general. I won't make a habit of eating this pizza, but it was much better than I had expected it to be.

I spent much of the day Sparking, playing computer games, and watching tv shows that I had on DVR. It's been a good day for the most part. I am looking forward to going back to work tomorrow, even though I am nursing a slight cold. I am hoping that it's going to pass me by.

My food caloric range is mid-range today, my exercise low. My attitude is good and I am happy with my plan for today. Bright blessings to you all.

My sister and niece are both very allergic to gluten and Anna is also allergic to yeast and sugar but she bakes with potato or rice flower and manages to bake them so you can't tell the difference. She uses orange juice to sweeten mostly. Maybe I can get some recipes off her to share on Spark. emoticon
