Loving the intervals

I've was introduced to interval training 6 months ago and have been using it on the treadmill ever since. When I started I could barely run 1 minute at 6mph. Friday I was able to run 6 two minute intervals at 8mph and recover for 3 minutes walking 4 mph. I probably need to push it a little more as I barely broke a sweat. But I feel great and can't wait to do my first 5K. I plan on running at least the half of it but it would be awesome to run the entire thing!
