This was kind of a tough week. I had definite muscle soreness from my 2k indoor rowing race. Spent a lot of time with those self message tools.

Rowing went well. Most of it was indoor on the erg and a lot was at a moderate level. We did get to go out on the lake on Saturday. It was chilly. I think the feels like temp was 24. Still the like was not covered with ice. We saw something like 15 bald eagles roosting in trees at the far end of the lake. Here we are about to go out. I'm in bow, if your not a rower I'm the last one.

I made quite a jump in my running mileage this week. I had planned a more incremental increase, but I lost a run each of the last two weeks. Watching to make sure my body and particularly my knees handled it okay. I ran 46.7 miles total for the week. I really had not planned the 13 mile progression run for Saturday. Predictions of thunderstorm on Sunday had me running early. It was tough following the threshold run on Friday morning, the 10k of indoor rowing at steady state on Friday evening and then rowing on water on Saturday morning. I did manage to pick up my pace for the last 3 miles so that is good.
