Rotten weather.

Sunday, February 10, 2013

No church this morning for it is pure ice out. It started sleeting around 2 am and now rain but ice under it all. Everything is cancelling out. We lost power several times this morning. They are saying it will turn over to snow tonight but we shouldn't get as much as further north of us. Made breakfast for the guys and did an egg mcmuffin for myself. Went in to the threadmill and got in 12 minutes before the power went out again. Trying to caught up on here before it goes again.

Three weeks left of February and I haven't gotten the scale to move at all. But won';t let it get me down. Trying on old clothes and checking out my swimsuit and shorts for when we go to Florida in April. Alot are way to big for me so will have to come up with extra money to get some new.

Glad you are safe in the midst of rough weather. Maybe when you get to Florida you can duck into a target for some shopping. I always wear my bathing suit from lands end, but maybe I'll get small enough to need a new one! LE suits aren't cheap but they fit great and last for years.

Yeah, this is being a weird winter. We had rain all day, washing away the road salt and melting a lot of snow. But we did 't get the freezing rain they predicted. Snow tonight. As for the scale, I have been staying off the dang thing as it either discourages me or makes me get ahead of myself. My job is to eat right and exercise. I love wearing the clothes that fit! I just keep on tracking food and exercising! I suggest you put it away. For a while. As an experiment! The non-scale measures are BETTER!

I'm glad you are home safe, from what I've seen on the news here it's been pretty bad for parts of the States and Canada. Keep warm!
