WUB Week 3/Visual Motivator/Weight Loss Journey

This is my visual motivator! I took things that I'd like to do or see and pictures that represent my awards when I reach certain goals (like going to Disney World, the hair cut I want, the swimsuits I've been looking at, etc).

I also wanted to update ya'll on my progress with my goal that I set the first week - to travel 5 miles in a week with my body. Last week, I didn't do it. This week I completed 10.28 miles. Like a boss. Next week, I would like to do at least seven miles.


I've come a long way since I started my weight loss journey on 12/26/12. No, this wasn't the first time I've tried. I've started several times before, and every time I've started I've fallen off the boat some way. Twice I've lost more than 40 pounds before gaining it all back. I've caught myself thinking, "What makes this time different?" Well, this time I'm doing it the right way. The last couple of times I actually lost weight, it was almost by accident because I sure didn't know what I was doing. Now, I'm educated about nutrition and fitness. I've changed my diet and my exercise routines. I've developed habits. I'm doing well.

And I'm going to continue doing well.

    I love your collage! And way to go on the 10.28 miles! That is awesome!! And made up for missing your goal last week, for sure! Developing healthy habits is the most important thing you can do for yourself; you ARE going to continue doing well- emoticon
