SHRED Results and Master Plan..

Saturday, February 09, 2013

Today is my last day of the SHRED diet. emoticon Tomorrow is my offical last day and I may still follow it a little but I am trying to transition back to eating without the plan.

Results: I started the plan on 12/31/12 with a weight of 187.6. I have not followed the plan all the time. If I were to do it again I think I have gained the skills to follow it more closely. But although I did not follow it 100% of the time I still lost weight emoticon . According to my Monday weigh in 178!!!! emoticon

So I can check the SHRED diet off my New Year to do list emoticon
emoticon Reached 170-ville by my birthday (2/5) was my birthday

I will weigh and take measurements tomorrow for my next workout challenge.
February 10- March 9th
Here are my goals for this challenge
emoticon Follow Billy Blanks 24/7 workout plan
emoticon Eat within calorie range but if I go over I must add another workout to schedule
emoticon Make sure to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day

Things I plan to keep up that I learned from SHRED
Lemon water in the morning
Add flax meal to oatmeal & smoothies
Incorporate protein shakes, veggie shakes or fruit smoothies into my food plan at least 2-3 times a week
Eat every 3-4 hours to keep metabolism high

I would recommend trying the SHRED diet but not if you are new to the journey. There is just not enough information about how the plan works for you to understand it without learning more on your own. If you have hit a plateau then this would work for you. I may do it again but not now. I have already pulled out my Cooking Light books and have dinners planned for the rest of the week. emoticon
