A Good None Scale Victory

I don't know why this surprised me, but I have been noticing lately that my stomach is shrinking. I don't mean the circumference (O.K. that too), but I think I am finally eating a normal amount of food. Also, probably because I have been reducing my fat intake, I can't take greasy food, which is positive.

We went to a French restaurant yesterday (for the first time), and even though the portions were small, man did I pay for it at around 6a.m. It was good though, but the portions could have been smaller. That is to say, rich foods are OK, but damn.

And now, off to do some cardio. I took two days off in a row from exercise, but the universe won't collapse. I also have a very long play session with church kids tonight, I prelogged 60 minutes, but I'll sure I will be running around for much longer.

I had an encounter with Indian food while on my vacation. Okay, it wasn't the Indian food that put me in, it was the piece of specialty chocolate baby shower cake that was over the top and woke me up in a not so good way at 2am. Sometimes we learn by example ... the bad example, but at least we learn!

Sounds like fun to chase after the kids. I have never had french food. Enless of course French Fries count LOL. I don't think they do though.
