yay mini progress

I started my new journey on jan 9th my weigh in was 289.3
since i wont be able to weigh in on the 9th due to work I did my weigh in today

Todays weigh in was 281.3

total loss = 8 pounds

my highest weight was 294 vs current weight 281.3 = 12.7 pounds

I am happy with that . I will take that 8 pounds . Considering I didnt really workout and all I did was watch what I ate since I am in vegetarian mode.

lately these past few day have been harder with food because i paid all my bills with my 1st check this month ,not really thinking of how i would survive the next 2 weeks till pay day which is on the 15th ...

smart to pay the bills but argh , some of them could have waiting till next payday .

so kinda been eating pasta and cheese ... eerr not really wanted i wanted but its food and there are people with no food ... and i really do not want to borrow money . i can make it ..

got my 30 mins workout in this morning . i wanna go longer but going to stick with the 30 mins for the rest of the month . my knee hasnt been acting up which is good.

i work all weekend so i hope everybody has a great weekend. it seems the weather will be nice this weekend.

my bf has his doctors appointment at 2pm today , i hope it goes well , kinda nervous for him .

next week i going to get my replace s.s. card and my mother decided to come along as well so yay for not having to drive ! and points for working on my long to do list .

theres a 1st birthday at my job on sunday morning , those usually tend to go well and it will for sure help time go by fast .

oh and random thought before i go .. i plan on donating my hair as most of you know .. and i made a promise to my self that when i reach my goal weight , i will chop off my hair just below my shoulders .. new weight , new life, give thanks .

so with that have a safe fun weekend

    Great job girl keep it up. I had a bad weekend ate things I shouldn't of but I'm back on track this morning ur dedication keeps me motivated

    Good suggestion about the beans, too, from HWNHMMBRD. It could be a good way to try to maintain or stay on track with the losses!!

    Awesome on the weight loss! Suggestion for inexpensive food, dried beans. I was reading another blog today, and one of the commenter said they soak the beans over night and then drain them. You can simmer just what you need until soft, and freeze the rest to use later. Lentils don't even need to be soaked, and cook up in about 20-30 minutes. I have an easy lentil soup recipe I will send you once I can find it. I know how hard it can be to stretch that dollar with resorting to dried saimin for every meal.

    8 lbs in a month is amazing. That's almost a rate of 100 lbs in a year (of course as you approach your healthy weight your loss will slow but still!!) Congratulations- keep it up!
