A little frustrated, my "lazy" days of not keeping within my calorie allowance have caught up to me. The scale was a little on the high side, and I refuse to even track weight gain, so there's going to be a gap in my weigh-ins until I get back below my most previous weight.

The GOOD NEWS, (yes, there is some) I splurged on veggies today. It is a splurge when you are piss-poor like I am, but I found it important. I've decided that I'm going to keep a tray of fresh veggies on the table between the hours that I get home and dinner time, so I chopped them up and laid them out with some dip, and, I'm pleased to announce, everyone was snacking on them! That's an accomplishment, especially for my husband, and even myself, as I don't care for raw vegetables. My oldest boy, age 6, has absolutely no problem eating veggies, he ate an entire red pepper and several celery sticks.

Well, that is all I got for now, I gotta read a bedtime story and do some winding down on my own!
