The "PLAN"

Just a FYI I am not trying to push this system on anyone, just giving my input.
I have NOT been a big fan of fitness DVD's in the past. I would buy sets and try them but just could not get into the fakeness of some of the people, either the presenters or the participants. Even when I was an instructor and we got educational DVD's to help us teach our classes properly I would learn more from the notes than I would watching...until recently when I had to fend for myself, or for my fitness, alone. I started pulling out some DVD's I had...and started adding to my collection. I became motivated by Jillian and Billy Blanks..I have owned and given away a few of the beachbody sets..including hip hop abs and turbo fire...but I do own 10 minute workouts and P90X.
So with all that being said while I was on ebay looking for DVD's to order to round out my growing library I came across this system that was fairly cheap (I think I paid about $15.00 for it) and decided to order is a 90 day program, dealing with muscle confusion and a calendar and food plan. I brought it back with me from America (in the meantime I also saw it at Ollie's for $11.00).
I decided to start in at the end of January so I could get my full 90 days in by the end of April-at this time I also found a half marathon to train for and created a schedule to include both:

The 2 schedules mesh pretty nicely together..if I am running at night I do the DVD in the morning...I usually supplement it with something else as well as the workouts only range from 30-45 mins each. I forgot to mention the name of it is the Supreme 90 Day System.

It has a few minor glitches..the packaging is a little has the same warm up and cool down throughout but overall the instructor is great, no fake stuff..the participants are hardcore but to me they are not silly or intimidating just straight forward, built individuals that inspire me not intimidate..and most importantly as I mentioned already the workouts are SHORT..but they get the job done.
Equipment needs are minimal: a stability ball, a mat and 2 maybe 3 sets of handweights..and not a lot of room either.
I measured and weighed on day 1 and have lost 3 lbs after the first 7 days..but don't forget I started running again too...I will measure after the first 30 days.

To try summarize I would say that anyone looking for an intense but short full body program for a cheap price this would be it. I have no doubts I will stick with the full 90 days..and yes obviously you will repeat certain DVD's several times, you never repeat them within the same week (which is part of my problem with some of the other programs I get bored doing the exact same thing every day, even if it is only for a week :()

I will also put in the disclaimer again that the exercises can be intense and are not for everyone. I read the reviews on Amazon, thanks to one of my friends on here telling me about that, and as a general consensus it does move a little fast and some of the exercises are hard for the beginner...if you have a pause button on your player, you will use it I am sure if you are new. Otherwise if you are looking for some direction, a short, to the point full body workout..this is it!!!

I love Supreme 90 Day~Tom is great! I would agree with the repetition of the warm-up, cool-down being a negative, but the workouts are really good. I only made it for 60 days, but I did see results and my fitness level definitely increased. Good luck to you with the program and your 1/2 marathon training. You are off to a great start this year!
