5k Training: Week 4, Take Two

This is my second week of Week Four of my 5k training. I reduced my running speed to 5.5mph and that has actually helped a lot for getting me through. It is still very difficult, but since Friday I have been able to finish the workout for the day. I plan to finish out the week with this speed and take next week to increase the intensity.
Thank you to everyone for all the support last week. It made me feel so much better, as did talking to my dad, who runs regularly but still has the same endurance issues as me. That's what I love so much about SparkPeople. I could get discouraged and give up, but it keeps me accountable and lets me know that even if I need to slow down, that's okay.
