Morning workout

Thursday, February 07, 2013

I am doing great this morning. Woke up and made my son and I some oatmeal for breakfast. He helped me dust, do laundry, make the bed, sweep, mop, do dishes, and a few other little things around the house. After his uncle came and picked him up and I still had hours to go before I had to be at work, I decided I could exercise! IN THE MORNING! (Ok so it was like 12pm but since I work out usually when everyone else is in bed this is the morning for me.)

I did my 15 minutes of Taebo and still have time to spare. Wow. Am I productive today or WHAT?!

I also found out I love the Progresso light soups. They are so good and very few calories. Just wish the sodium level wasn't so darn high. Oh well. Still low in calories and something quick to eat.

If I have enough energy tonight after work I might just do some more Taebo to get the rest of my cardio work outs in for the week. Only 50 more calories to burn before I meet my goal. Should be easy enough. emoticon

I am STILL hating the scale and measuring tape. Don't think I will get over the fact that it's not moving when I have lost 14 pounds in a month over the summer just by not eating as much and yet now that I am working towards it, it isn't helping me.

But people keep telling me that my working out and eating healthier IS helping. I just wish my body would show me it is. I need some kind of proof before I can believe things anymore.

Though I am not going to let the unmoving scale take away my re-united love of exercising. Or the new foods I have found that I enjoy and look forward to. :)

Just going to keep on keeping on! emoticon emoticon emoticon

You are building muscle since you are working out. Don't look at this as a downer since the weight isn't coming off as smoothly as before. Building muscle means your metabolism is getting stronger.
It does take time - persistence emoticon does pay off in the long run!!!
