Valentine's Day is coming!

Thursday, February 07, 2013

Everything seems to be back down to normal again. I still have no energy but at least I can stay awake for more than 2 or 3 hours at a time. I really made myself sick eating the other day and I suffered a lot with it. I hope my head learned a lesson but somehow I don't think so.

They finally finished the remodeling here on my floor but unfortunately the elevator situation will not be resolved for a long time. With Valentine's Day coming, the place will be filling up and that means long waits to move.

Speaking of Valentine's Day, what is everyone doing for it? Do you have a special tradition, expect gifts or just take it as another day? We usually go out to eat as a gift to ourselves. I used to get flowers and candy or sometimes jewelry but as we got older, it just came down to dinner. I'm ok with this as we don't need a special day to show our love for each other, we do that everyday, ;)

I am glad you are feeling better sweetie, it's about time isn't it. Portion control I know is much harder when you are hungry and missed a meal. I am sure you will have better portion control when you are feeling 100% again.

I am glad for your sake the pounding and hammering on your floor is done, now it is all up to the stairs. Well you wanted to get more exercise in, maybe you will with the stair walking when you are not carrying things. Have a great Friday!! Hugs

I'm glad you're finally feeling better!

We don't really do anything much for V day. My granddaughter turns four on V day, but we won't see her that day (though we have her all this weekend)
