It always makes us feel good when we have approval from others. However, when we decide to live for God rather than man we may lose our approval from man but we shouldn’t waste time worrying about that. Taking time to live for God rather than man is what God wants from us. We shouldn’t be spending time trying to please man. We need to take the time to seek approval from God by studying His word, talking with Him and obeying His commands.

Galatians 1:10 “Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, help us to focus on spending time with You today. Help us to seek Your approval and not man’s. We can’t please those who live by worldly standards and be Your servant at the same time. Give us strength, courage and wisdom to seek and do Your will in all things. We want Your approval and not the worlds. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Rather than seeking the approval of man, we need to seek the approval of God.

What we do shouldn’t have to be pleasing to man if it is pleasing to God.

In order to know what God wants us to do, we have to know God.

Psalm 90:17 “And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful!” (NLT)
