easy day

After running for the first time in about 18 months, my knees are sore. yesterday I did strength training and that also contributed. I played soccer in high school and have had this pain numerous times, particularily when I am doing to much to soon. As a result I chose to primarily walk today rather than run again. I ran 30 second intervals every 5 minutes or so. My average time was slow, but I was working hard. I am realizing how out of shape for running I am. Yet this is just a starting point. I can only improve from here. Still figuring out the best schedule for my body for exercising and if I should I my knee after running.
