There & Back

Wednesday, February 06, 2013

I arrived home early Monday morning (12:30am-ish), that was a long ride home. I had a fantastic time in San Antonio, what an experience to watch a military graduation. Went on the River Walk, River Boat Tour ride, saw the Alamo, went to a Rampage hockey game, Spurs basketball game, & Sea World!! It was a jam packed week :)

Because it was such a jam packed week, I really didn't get to work out at all. Well, we did walk around EVERYWHERE on base & in downtown San Antonio...so I did get exercise in that sense, but I didn't bring my HRM, so I wasn't really sure how to put it in the fitness tracker. So I just kept a mental note, which made me feel better when I had not the best nutritious foods.

There really isn't anything like stepping off the plane, then taking a deep breath of fresh, crisp New Hampshire air... I love this state, it's my home and I can't imagine living anywhere else. I am so happy to be home, a little difficult getting back into the housewife/stay at home mom mode after having a week break of it, haha :)

Weighed myself this afternoon & stayed about the same, lost about .3, which is incredible considering my bad habits over the past week. Those walks must have paid off, yay :)

Now to get back into the eating healthier & working out routines. Doing well so far today, just need to squeeze in a little work out before the days end. Which I'm finding a little tough considering the mess I came home to, lol.

Okay, off to get order back in my household, haha. Glad to be back, have a great night SparkPeople!

    Thanks ladies :)

Wasn't able to do a traditional work out, but me, my husband & girls moved all their beds, bureaus & all their belongings upstairs into their new bedrooms...man, I'm beat!

Now off to bed, good night. emoticon

Way to stay on track! Sounds like you did well with the walking.

I know what you mean about smelling that fresh New Hampshire air! I miss my New Hampshire home when I am away.
