Survived Tuesday- Barely

Well, I survived yesterday but barely- I am officially sick. I made it through school feeling exhausted- I made it through my first tutoring (from 4-6) and on the way to my second tutoring I treated myself to a smoothie at smoothie kings- I got a low calorie one and had them add an enhancer of immunity to help me out. It seemed to help during my second tutoring I was not as tired but it wore off on my way home. My boyfriend made me a warm bath which I happily soaked in for about 20 minutes (till it got cold)- then I took some cold medicine and was in bed by 8:30. I did not sleep very well because I am extremely sore- I don't think it could be from that tiny workout I think it is a combination of that and the flu like soreness. Every time I turned over I would wake up in pain- but I got at least 7 hours of sleep. Still very sore and tired today- my throat is raw so I am not eating much to be honest. But we get out an hour early today and I am going to try to go home and get in a short nap before my tutoring today. If I am up to it I want to try to do some cardio this evening even if it is just a walk to work out some of my soreness. If you have any suggestions for getting over the flu please let me know.

Edit- I forgot to mention I am seeing the scale go down so I know that some of that weight I gained was just from the crazy salty foods at the super bowl- not all of it but some of it- the rest is from taking too many days off.

    Please get the rest your body needs love! If anyone knows this it has been me. I keep pushing through sickness, and it lingers and lingers and morphs into incredibly hard to get over illnesses. REST, HYDRATE and take care of yourself!

    REST REST REST and hydrate. Trying to workout isn't going to help if you are sick. a soak in the tub and some stretching with help with soreness, though a lot of is is probably from the illness.

    best plan for getting over the flu is lots of fluids, lots of rest - let your body heal itself.
